SVN Information

Zer0 is atm looking to set up an SVN server on his old computer so we keeps things free. If you have never used SVN before I will post a little tutorial here. We will use this program so we can sync our files, models, textures, vmfs and bsps.

So you will need to install tortoise SVN that you can get here: http://tortoisesvn.net/downloads

Why don't we use dropbox? it's very easy, and I've never heard of SVN tbh.

I don't know if dropbox has a version control system. We're used to SVN and it's easy to use, it's not just to put our files on the internet it's because we all should have the same version and stuff every time. We will need an SVN server :p

hmm.. dropbox automaticly updates the files when you start your pc, and you don't need a server www.getdropbox.com
But okay, SVN will be fine then heh

Ok I googled and it does have version control, and DaBeatz gave me a little tutorial, this will be handy, I will ask if everybody is ok with it tonight to use dropbox for our file syncing.

Also because Zer0 is gonna be extremely lazy to figure out how to setup an SVN so dropbox does look good!
